- POLICY ON PREVENTION OF SEXUAL TOURISM In compliance with the provisions of Law 679 of 2001 and Law 1336 of 2009:
• Any act of sexual exploitation or abuse will be reported to the competent authorities.
• Measures are taken to prevent employees from promoting sexual tourism and exploitation.
• Information regarding the legislation against sexual exploitation and tourism, as well as their respective civil and criminal penalties, is disseminated to GUESTS.
Therefore, the following is prohibited:
• Any type of exhibitionist or irregular behavior in the common areas of the building and balconies of the rooms.
Privacy Policy
In compliance with the provisions of Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013:
• The OPERATOR is authorized to collect information provided through this medium, such as name, address, phone number, identification, nationality, payment method for reservations or services contracted through this medium, for the purpose of carrying out loyalty activities and contacting the information holder to coordinate their respective accommodation or service at Versus Hotel.
• The information holder authorizes the information to be transferred, transmitted, shared, and provided to support staff of the dependencies of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism through the operating system used by the property.
Legal Terms
In compliance with Law 17 of 1981 and Law 299 of 1996, in Colombia, wildlife is protected, and its illegal commercialization is avoided. In compliance with Law 124 of 1994, the sale of alcoholic beverages to minors is prohibited, and according to Law 30 of 1986, excess alcohol consumption is harmful to health.
In accordance with the provisions of Law 1185 of 2008, the illegal trafficking of cultural goods is prohibited in Colombia. For the application of lodging tax exemptions, foreigners and nationals entering the national territory without the intention of establishing themselves in Colombia, who demonstrate such condition by presenting their original passport; the Andean card or the Mercosur card proving their migratory status with the valid stamp of Entry and Stay Permit PIP-3, or PIP-5, or PIP-6, or PIP-10; or the valid Temporary Visa TP-7, or TP-11, or TP-12; depending on the purpose for which the resident abroad enters the country without the intention of establishing themselves, in accordance with Decree 1067 of 2015, modified by Decree 1743 of 2015, and Resolution 5512 of 2015 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other regulations that modify, add, or replace them, provided that it concerns the acquisition of tourist services sold under the modality of tourist plans or packages by operating agencies and hotels registered in the national tourism registry, including those sold by hotels registered to operating agencies. The national will accredit their status as a resident abroad by presenting documentation issued by the authorities of the country of residence.
